Dr. Upneet Lalli is Head, Training, and Research at the Institute of Correctional Administration, at Chandigarh. A Doctorate in Psychology and a law graduate, she integrates the psychological aspects and legal realities. She has designed, conducted, and organized training programs for mid and senior-rank prison officers, police officers, and prosecutors. She has authored books, a number of articles, books, and chapters in books on the theme of Juvenile justice, child rights, prison reforms, police reform, and gender issues . She has also organized various international and national level seminars and Conferences. She is also a global Ambassador of Restorative justice. She has also been associated with policy-making related to prisons and custodial justice, and gender justice issues. She has conducted various research projects for various agencies on issues of custodial justice, prison administration, and human rights.
