B.L. Vohra IPS (Retd.) is a Post Graduate in Economics from Delhi University. He retired in 2004 as Director General of Police after a distinguished career of 37 years. he remained D.G. of SSB, Civil Defence and Commandant General-in-Chief Home Guards in Govt. of India, DGP and Home Secretary, Manipur and DGP Tripura. He also served in Delhi Police, BSF, NSG, CRPF, CISF, BPR&D, and in difficult areas like Punjab, J&K and North-East.
